Job summary

Alliance Ground International is seeking an experienced Ground Service Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair gas/diesel engines and associated systems on airport service equipment, including vehicles, belt loaders, and power units.

Candidate should have 2+ years of experience, be able to perform fabrication (MIG/Arc welding), and possess a valid driver’s license with the ability to pass screening and security checks. Training is provided and safety bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of troubleshooting and repair on gas/diesel engines.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems; transmissions and brakes.
• Fabrication skills: MIG and Arc welding.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Able to pass a drug screen and airport security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt response to equipment service requests and troubleshoot/repair: vehicles, belt loaders, lavatory service trucks, air conditioner carts, ground power units, and more.
• Perform and track preventative maintenance for each piece of equipment.
• Work with station management to help control budget and order parts and supplies.
