Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring a Ground Service Equipment Mechanic at Seattle International Airport. The role involves repairing airport service vehicles, inspecting parts, and performing repairs across gas/diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

You will work to maintain safe and efficient equipment, conduct routine checks, and ensure compliance with safety procedures while supporting the aircraft services team. Strong mechanical experience and badges are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or related experience and training.
• 3 to 5 years of mechanical experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must obtain/maintain Airports and Custom badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles and repair gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality checks on refueling equipment and maintain records.
• Operate refueling equipment vehicles.
• Provide preventive care to equipment and timely repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment per health, safety and security policies.
