Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is seeking a GIS Solution Engineer to serve as a trusted advisor on our commercial team. You will lead technical meetings, demonstrate Esri software, and build executive-level relationships with major customers.

This role requires deep ArcGIS expertise, GIS project delivery, and strong sales-aligned mindset to translate complex GIS capabilities into business value. Domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience with Esri technology creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications.
3+ years in Hi-Tech, Media & Entertainment, Consumer Goods & Services, or Financial Services.
Broad knowledge of ArcGIS from an IT context (hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, cloud computing).
Experience with geodatabases and DBMS technologies.
Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and environments (Azure or AWS).

Responsibilities

Build relationships with customers and lead technical meetings to drive revenue.
Be a technical leader of Esri technology and SME for commercial industries.
Proactively craft and propose GIS-based solutions that align technology with business needs.
Design presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and present at conferences.
