Job summary

MCA Airports is hiring a Manager to support the GM in day-to-day restaurant operations at Key West International Airport. You will oversee BOH and FOH hiring, staff development, scheduling, inventory, and ensure food quality, sanitation, and safety throughout the operation.

You will lead by example, solve problems, and manage workforce and time to maximize results while maintaining exceptional guest service and strict adherence to MCA policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business or Culinary Arts.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory/assistant manager experience, preferably full-service restaurants.
• Knowledge of marketing techniques and impact on business results.
• Experience in guest relations, negotiations, and complaint handling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to service of customers, staff, co-workers, and management.
• Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead by example.
• High integrity and honesty.
• High Work Ethic, passion, and commitment.
• Ability to work full time hours to manage the operation, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated coaching and development skills.
• Ability to train and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MCA/Brand operating procedures and ensure adherence by all staff.
• Attend and contribute to management meetings as required.
• Schedule and lead pre-shift and post-shift meetings and post communications to staff.
• Ensure supervisor/employee duties are performed and completed timely.
• Record deliveries; reconcile inventories with purchase orders.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure perishable items are stored at correct temperatures.
• Complete daily reporting reflecting MCA/Brand procedures.
• Suggest strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
• Ensure all cash payments are processed and receipts issued.
• Balance cash items and complete end-of-night reports.
