Job summary

Ketchikan (KGB) — Airport is seeking a Toll Collector to manage passenger and vehicle ferry fares, collect fees, and perform daily cash reconciliation. The role requires accurate math, cash handling, and basic computer skills.

You will assist the public, relay information, and cooperate with airport staff, maintaining calm in stressful situations and ensuring efficient service at the toll booth. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and prior general office or cash handling

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical computations and ability to count change.
• Experience with cash registers and ten-key calculators.
• Willing to perform a variety of duties and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Determine and collect ferry fare and airport parking fees.
• Maintain records for ferry passes and accounts for frequent users.
• Provide routine information to the public and relay information to staff.
• Inform the public of ferry delays and assist as needed.
• Operate radio and assist during emergencies.
• Maintain booth area and cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as directed by Airport management.
