The City of Atlanta is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician II to perform routine and skilled maintenance, inspections, and repairs for airport buildings and related facilities. You will work in secured and unsecured areas, ensuring safety, functionality, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include documenting work orders, performing repairs to doors, windows, roofs, and lighting, and supporting emergency response efforts.

Formación

• Knowledge of routine and minor building maintenance and repair practices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical building components.
• Ability to efficiently plan and complete tasks within timeframes.
• Ability to identify maintenance issues and safety hazards and take corrective action.

Responsabilidades

• Process and document maintenance service requests and work orders.
• Repair or replace windows and glass, minor roof repairs, and door hardware.
• Inspect and maintain airport buildings and facility assets in secured and non-secured areas.
• Inspect, maintain, and document maintenance vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Provide maintenance support during airport emergencies or incidents.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and materials usage.
