Zusammenfassung

United Ground Express, Inc. at ORD Chicago O'Hare International Airport is seeking a Passenger Assistance Agent. You will coordinate service requests, assign work orders through our computer system, and complete required reports accurately.

You must meet FAA/TSA credentials, be able to read/write English, and work any shift including nights and holidays. Competitive hourly wages start at $19.50, with overtime as needed, and travel discounts for you and family.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate a computer and/or tablet to enter, retrieve, and manage data.
• Use electronic radio devices to communicate with co-workers and management.
• Must be willing and able to perform a variety of physical activities daily, including bending, stooping, climbing, and walking long distances.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain all necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs, and U.S. Postal Service) in accordance with local requirements.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Available to work any shift; day or night, weekends, and holidays; mandatory overtime may be required based on operational need.
• Must be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.

Aufgaben

• Work with Passenger Assistance Agents (PAAs) to ensure all service requests are addressed and completed.
• Provide assignments and work orders through a computer system.
• Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all applicable FAA, TSA, airline, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Keep the supervisor informed of operational needs, issues, and concerns within assigned areas; maintain cleanliness of the immediate work area and report maintenance needs as appropriate.
• Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain required records, reports, and files.
• Maintain and distribute radios, where applicable, and complete all required documentation and reports.
• Receive and respond to telephone and radio communications from PAAs and employees in a professional and timely manner.
• Represent the Company professionally by responding to inquiries from airline personnel, employees, and the public in a courteous and helpful manner.
• Support training and onboarding of new hires through coaching and mentorship.
• Work safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
