Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Read, write, fluent English speaking and understanding required.
Bilingual language skills may be required in some locations.
Valid driver’s license as required by local authorities.
Must pass FAA criminal background checks for airport access (SIDA) if applicable.
Must secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable.
Ability to work irregular/extended hours including weekends/holidays.
Must report to work regularly.

Responsibilities

Promotes and sells air travel to the traveling public or freight forwarders.
Provides assistance with passenger check-in and cargo acceptance.
Interprets government rules and requirements for domestic/international travel or cargo shipments.
Meets and dispatches aircraft within established times.
Provides assistance to distressed passengers and customers.
Protects company property and revenue.
Provides for safe travel.
May drive and operate air stairs to enplane/deplane passengers.
May lead and direct the work of other employees.
