Job summary

METRO NASHVILLE AIRPORT AUTHORITY is seeking a Construction Coordinator to provide project management support for major architectural and civil projects, and to manage minor projects under the supervision of the Manager, Construction.

You will handle scope development, procurement, pre-construction, construction execution & administration, and close-out for building, airfield, landside, operations, and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction, engineering, architecture or related field is required.
• Less than 2 years' experience in construction, engineering, architectural, or related field is required.
• Valid Driver License - Class D is required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and assists in maintaining day-to-day operations of major construction projects.
• Coordinates with designers, contractors and stakeholders to meet schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and present updates on project status, challenges and milestones to the Manager, Construction.
• Maintain Capital Improvement project sheets and data tracking.
• Facilitate communication between owner, internal departments, contractors, architects, regulatory agencies and other stakeholders.
• Assist in development of capital improvement projects (feasibility, design and constructability).
• Maintain records of progress, including meeting minutes, change orders, and design modifications.
• Schedule and conduct pre-construction and progress meetings.
• Assist with evaluation of change order requests, RFIs, and other field change issues.
• Assist with contract administration and tracking project expenses.
