Job summary

Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA) is seeking a Construction Coordinator to provide project management support on major architectural and civil projects at Nashville International Airport. You will handle scope development, procurement, pre-construction, construction execution and close-out for building, airfield, landside, operations, and maintenance projects under the Manager, Construction.

The role requires overseeing design support, procurement, RFIs, field changes, and budget

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in construction, engineering, architecture or a related field.
• Less than 2 years' experience in construction, engineering, architectural, or a related field.
• Valid Driver License - Class D

Responsibilities

• Verifies and assists the Manager, Construction in maintaining day-to-day operations of major construction projects, including design support, contract procurement, schedule tracking, processing submittals and RFIs, field changes and directives, general correspondence, and pay applications.
• Coordinates with designers, contractors and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within time and budget.
• Prepare and present regular updates and reports for the Manager, Construction regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.
• Maintains Capital Improvement project sheets, data collection, management, and tracking, and other related project coordination items.
• Facilitate effective communication between the owner, internal departments, contractors, architects, regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Assist in development of capital improvement projects, including feasibility, design and constructability reviews, and preparation of construction documents.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, including meeting minutes, change orders, and design modifications.
• Schedules and conducts pre-construction and progress meetings in support of the Manager, Construction.
