Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is seeking a Project Manager to oversee day-to-day management of multiple capital projects across JFK, EWR, LGA, SWF and TEB. The role requires responding to the Capital Plan and Agency Major Maintenance Program commands, with field work from airports and one day per week of remote work allowed.
Responsibilities include lifecycle management from initiation through closeout, risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and reporting to senior leadership.
The Aviation Department is responsible for the safe, secure and efficient operation of one of the world’s busiest airport systems, comprised of John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), New York Stewart International Airport (SWF) and Teterboro Airport (TEB). The 10-year Capital Plan has dedicated a record amount of funding for state of good repair projects across the portfolio and the Core Capital team will be implementing a majority of those projects. The Project Manager will be selected to responsible for the day-to-day management of various projects included in the Capital Plan and Agency Major Maintenance Program.
Reporting to a Program Manager at JFK, the selected candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of various projects included in Port Authority Capital Plan and Agency Major Maintenance Program. This position requires the candidate to work from the relevant airport with one day per week of work from home permitted. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management of full project life cycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing for each assigned project.
The successful candidate will be required to apply, obtain and be able to maintain Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Card and airfield driving privileges.

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey anticipates that the actual salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on aspects such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal factors. The expected compensation range for this role is:
Minimum: $90,012 Midpoint: $117,018 Maximum: $144,014
In accordance with Port Authority policy, this position permits employees to work remotely a maximum of one day per week. In person collaboration is essential to how the Port Authority conducts business, and regular in-office days or team collaboration days may be required on business needs.
