Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive, routine and emergency maintenance on baggage handling systems and passenger boarding bridges. You will read manuals, assist in troubleshooting and support senior technicians.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced environment near active aircraft

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with readi ng blueprints/schematics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic maintenance on Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges.
• Diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior technicians.
• Provide direction and training to junior staff when needed.
• Read and interpret repair manuals and schematics.
• Maintain safety and ELS procedures and complete required training.
