Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support technicians in maintaining Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges at airport facilities. You will assist with preventive, routine, and emergency tasks, read repair manuals, and follow supervisor instructions while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing under guidance, performing electrical/mechanical adjustments, and ensuring equipment runs safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience or 1 year BHS/PBB experience, or be able to pass a mechanical aptitude test.
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic maintenance assignments including preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance.
• May diagnose equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel.
• Read and interpret repair manuals and schematics; follow supervisor instructions.
• Wear PPE and fall protection; work in tight/raised spaces.
• Complete safety training and company procedures; follow ELS policies.
