Job summary

Elite Line Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic to complex preventive and corrective maintenance on Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges. The role includes mentoring junior staff, reading repair manuals and schematics, and ensuring safety with PPE compliance.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years in mechanical or electrical work, reading blueprints, and be able to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: Airport environment experience and conveyors/bridges experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair on Baggage Handling Systems and/or Passenger Boarding Bridges as assigned.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under guidance of senior personnel and ensures safe operation.
• Provides direction and training to junior staff and can lead in absence of Sr. Technicians.
• Reads repair manuals and manuals; follows supervisor/manager instructions.
• Maintains safety through compliance with policies and PPE requirements.
