Job summary

Elite Line Services is seeking aMaintenance Technician to perform basic maintenance on baggage handling and related airport systems. The role involves preventive and emergency maintenance, diagnosing issues, and following detailed repair instructions.

The candidate should have 2+ years of mechanical or electrical experience, and prefer background in airport environments. Strong emphasis on safety, reliability, and teamwork in a demanding airport setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years mechanical or electrical experience.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Preferred experience in an Airport environment and with conveyors/airline equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic maintenance including preventive, routine and emergency tasks and clears system jams.
• Diagnoses equipment failures under supervision and ensures safe operation.
• Mentors/train junior personnel and may lead in absence of senior technicians or supervisors.
• Reads repair manuals and schematics and follows supervisor/manager instructions.
• Adheres to company safety policies and completes required training.
