Job summary

Allegiant in Monterey, CA is seeking an Airport Team Member to deliver customer service for both scheduled and charter flights, with responsibilities spanning ground operations, aircraft cleaning, security and commissary duties.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED, a minimum age of 18, a valid driver’s license, and proficient English. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and be authorized to work in the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year customer service experience; airline industry preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to understand instructions and interact with customers.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Process tickets, check baggage, monitor carry‑on baggage for size and quantity, and assign seats.
• Provide information on arrival/departure times, boarding procedures, and seating arrangements.
• Marshal in planes and push back aircraft.
• Assist customers with special needs and handle denials/commercial accommodations as needed.
• Operate heavy machinery and ensure safety and security per FAA regulations.
• Follow Allegiant Air and airport regulations; perform other duties as assigned.
