Job summary

Allegiant Air in the United States is seeking a Ground Operations Agent to load/unload baggage, marshal aircraft, and operate GSE. You will also help with cleaning, stock management, and safety checks, while communicating clearly with crew and customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read and speak English, and the willingness to work flexible hours including nights and holidays. Training will be provided in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English to receive instructions and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage and co-mail to/from aircraft and baggage areas.
• Operate ground service equipment.
• Marshal aircraft to/from gates.
• Provide proper handling of baggage requiring special care.
• Service aircraft lavatories.
• Perform security searches as required.
• Ensure ramp areas are safe and free of FOD and equipment is maintained.
• Follow safety regulations and wear required safety gear.
• Operate heavy machinery including tugs, tractors, loaders, and carts.
• Communicate via two-way radio; strong verbal and written communication.
• Perform aircraft interior cleaning as needed.
• Stock aircraft and carts with supplies; track inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
