Job summary

Allegiant is seeking a Ground Operations Agent to manage baggage handling, loading and unloading as well as marshaling aircraft and meeting flights. The role requires operating ground service equipment, assisting customers with special needs, and supporting crew and agents in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma/GED, be eligible to work in the US, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload baggage and mail to/from aircraft and airport baggage areas.
• Operate ground service equipment.
• Marshal aircraft to/from gates and meet arriving/departing flights.
• Provide handling for baggage requiring special care and assist customers as needed.
• Perform safety and security checks in accordance with regulations.
• Communicate via two-way radio and work under time constraints.
