Job summary

Lufthansa Cargo in Dallas is seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive proactive sales, manage quotations, allocations and bookings, and help keep our business moving forward. You will target new and existing customers, offer competitive rate structures, promote eChannel and eAWB, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue while maintaining high service levels.

Applicants should have 2–3 years cargo experience, English required, and a bachelor3s degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor3s degree desirable.
• 2-3 years cargo or related experience preferred.
• English language required; German desirable.
• Knowledge in airfreight, logistics, transportation and sales.

Responsibilities

• Achieves sales budget targets for assigned accounts
• Creates rate offers, with and without guarantee of transportation
• Identifies and manages opportunities with existing customers to negotiate profitable, long-term business
• Acquires new customers using LCAG tools and external sources
• Books standard and special products including OAL or JV segments with profitability checks
• Promotes eChannel usage and eAWB
• Participates in local sales events
• Performs other duties as assigned
