Job summary

Total Aviation Staffing is seeking skilled A&P Technicians for an MRO facility at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, TX. You will perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on business aircraft, ensuring safety, reliability and airworthiness.

Candidates must hold an FAA A&P certificate and have experience with corporate aircraft. Strong documentation, teamwork and attention to detail are essential, with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Join our team at a leading aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility at Garner Field Airport in Uvalde, Texas. We are seeking skilled A&P Technicians to perform high-quality maintenance and repairs on business aircraft and help ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and airworthiness.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM manuals, and approved technical data.
• Inspect, adjust, replace, and repair aircraft components to maintain safe and reliable aircraft operation.
• Remove and reinstall components as necessary to access areas requiring maintenance.
• Complete accurate maintenance records, aircraft logbook entries, and required documentation.
• Assist with aircraft fueling and defueling operations.
• Support avionics troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Repair and replace flight-control and airframe components, including flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
• Coordinate effectively with supervisors and other maintenance personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Requirements

• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Experience performing maintenance on business or corporate aircraft.
• Experience with Cessna Citation, Gulfstream, or Learjet 45 aircraft preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, technical publications, and engineering documentation.
• Strong experience with aircraft inspections, troubleshooting, adjustments, component replacement, and structural repairs.
• Ability to accurately document maintenance activities in compliance with FAA requirements.
• 5+ years of experience with aircraft electrical and/or mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.
• $28-$40 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
