Job summary

City of Manchester, NH is seeking an Airport Operations & Maintenance Specialist – Aviation to keep airfield facilities safe, secure and operational. The role performs maintenance, repair, inspection and construction tasks on field assets and coordinates with the Airport Control Tower and other teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a Class B CDL and the ability to work in all weather, follow FAA guidelines (FAR Parts 139 and 107) and communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of the operation of complex and motorized equipment.
• Ability to learn and apply FAA and local airport rules and regulations.
• High school diploma or GED; CDL-B license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance, repair, inspection and construction on airfield facilities and equipment.
• Operates a variety of heavy and light equipment and monitors safety on airport grounds.
• Enforces airport security rules and responds to airfield emergencies as a team member.
• Maintains communications with Airport Control Tower and other teams.
