Job summary

City of Manchester, NH is seeking a skilled maintenance worker to perform structural and mechanical preventative maintenance and repairs on airport buildings. This role requires installing and repairing HVAC, electrical and plumbing components, and responding to alarms and maintenance requests.

Responsibilities include coordinating with airport staff, tenants and contractors, maintaining safety compliance, and working in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduation from High School or possession of GED.
• Three to five years of experience in building maintenance and/or skilled trades.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Responsibilities

• Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on all structural and mechanical systems within airport facilities.
• Troubleshoots and replaces defective electrical and electronic equipment; maintains HVAC systems.
• Installs electrical cables, and maintains infrastructure like walls, flooring, ceilings.
• Responds to alarms and supports airport safety and security protocols.
• Coordinates with staff, tenants, contractors, and the public; participates in training and meetings.
