Job summary

City of Morgantown is seeking an Airport Operations & Maintenance Specialist to ensure safety, security, and upkeep of airport facilities and equipment. The role includes ARFF response capabilities and cross-training to support FBO services, with a focus on servicing aircraft and ensuring compliance with regulations.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain ARFF and CPR/First Aid certifications within six months.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must obtain ARFF certification within 6 months of employment.
• Must obtain CPR & First Aid certification within 6 months of employment.
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, security, and maintenance of airport grounds, equipment, buildings, and facilities.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of equipment and facilities to stay compliant with regulations.
• Repair and maintain runway, taxiway, hangars, buildings, roads, and airport equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to pilots, passengers, tenants, and the public.
