Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport seeks a dispatcher to operate the centralized Communications Center and coordinate emergency and everyday airport activities. You will manage radio, CCTV, fire alarm systems and log events for multiple agencies including ARFF and ATC.

The role requires handling under pressure, excellent customer service, and the ability to pass background checks and TSA requirements. Office is on-site with 24/7 operations.

Formación

• Completion of a high school diploma or the equivalent with an additional one year of customer service or related experience.
• TCOLE Telecommunications License preferred or the ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• Prefer completion of two years of college coursework and experience providing emergency dispatch services.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a centralized communications center, monitoring multiple computer systems for emergency and non-emergency situations.
• Monitor and operate security systems, including two-way radio, fire alarms, CCTV and runway sensor systems.
• Coordinate day-to-day airport activities through the 24-hour Communications Center and serve as the first point of contact for airport agencies and the public.
