Job summary

Atlas Air Worldwide is seeking a Ground Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day ground and cargo operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant activities. Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience, with at least 4 years in aviation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cargo operations including ACMI, scheduled services, and charter operations.
• Pass company training in Loadplanning, Weight & Balance, and aircraft handling.
• Strong leadership, problem solving and operational decision-making abilities.
• Multilingual capability preferred; fluency in English required.
• Must have current passport/visas and no travel restrictions.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to drive company/rental vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground operations including loadmaster, hazmat, deicing, fueling, passenger services, security, and related tasks.
• Monitor compliance of customers/vendors with Atlas procedures for ground operations.
• Perform quality control audits of flight folders, ramp, and warehouse operations.
• Coordinate with airport management and authorities; act as Station Boss and keep HQ informed.
• Ensure staff and vendors are current with operating requirements and focus items.
• Lead initiatives to improve service levels and control costs with cross-functional teams.
• Load aircraft Weight & Balance calculations using company systems.
• Record turnaround information in digital tools and distribute reports on time.
• Ensure compliance with TSA, US CBP, FAA, and other authorities.
