Job summary

Allegheny County Airport Authority is seeking a Temp Driver to operate trucks, snowplows, and airport equipment to keep PIT/AGC airports operational. You will work assigned shifts and must be available for overtime during the snow season.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years of driving experience in maintenance, and a valid PA Class A or B CDL. PPE footwear is required, with knowledge of FAA ground control and radio procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience as a driver in a maintenance environment.
• Own personal protective footwear (Composite toe safety shoes).
• Current Pennsylvania Class A or B CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and equipment such as dump trucks, snow removal equipment, buses, and related airport machinery.
• Maintain safety by following guidelines and communicating via radio.
• Check oil, hydraulic fluid, and water levels; perform basic lubrication and pre/post trip inspections.
• Be prepared to work on all shifts and overtime during winter/snow season; travel on AO A with tower communications.
