Job summary

The Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) seeks an Equipment Operator to operate trucks, snowplows and related machinery to keep the airport in an operational state.

Under supervision, you will work shifts, be available for overtime during the snow season, perform preventative maintenance, and support field and facilities teams across runways and taxiways. Prior heavy equipment experience and a valid PA CDL are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience operating heavy mobile road and off road construction and maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, snowplows and other equipment to maintain the airport in an operational condition.
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Work overtime during the snow season and be available for additional shifts as needed.
