Job summary

Pittsburgh International Airport (ACAA) seeks a Temp Equipment Operator to support snow removal and general maintenance. You will operate backhoes, loaders, excavators, forklifts, and other equipment to keep runways and taxiways clear, and assist trades in water, sewer, and utility repairs.

Overtime during snow season is expected, with shifts assigned by supervision. Applicants should have two years of heavy equipment experience, a valid Pennsylvania CDL (A or B), and a high school diploma or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in the operation of heavy mobile road and off road construction and maintenance equipment.
• Must possess a current, valid Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Operate backhoes, front-end loaders and excavators to support tradesmen in excavation and repair of water, sewer, electrical and gas lines.
• Operate high pressure water sewer cleaning equipment and pumps for manhole work.
• Operate snow removal equipment and other machinery to maintain runways, taxiways, and related areas.
• Perform equipment preventative maintenance and ensure safety guidelines are followed.
