TYLin is actively seeking an Airfield Senior Civil Engineer to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex airport projects. You will serve as the airfield discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with planners, architects, engineers, environmental specialists, and construction professionals.

The role requires extensive experience in airport infrastructure, proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and a strong knowledge of FAA standards and AIP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license required; ability to licensure in other states.
• 12+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in airport or aviation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex airfield and airport civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Serve as airfield discipline lead on multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with planners, architects, engineers, and construction professionals.
• Develop and review airfield geometrics, pavement systems, drainage, and utilities.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, and design criteria; manage schedules and budgets.
• Apply FAA standards and TSA considerations to project development and delivery.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
