Job summary

TYLin Aviation is seeking a seasoned Airfield Senior Civil Engineer to lead planning, design and delivery of complex airport projects. You will serve as the airfield discipline lead, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to develop safe, sustainable aviation infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in civil/airport projects, a PE license, and strong knowledge of FAA standards, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license required.
12+ years of progressive civil/airport infrastructure experience.
Experience with FAA standards, airport design, and AIP processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong project delivery skills.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and delivery of complex airfield and airport projects from concept through construction.
Serve as airfield discipline lead, coordinating with planners, architects, engineers and environmental specialists.
Develop airfield geometrics, alignments, grading, drainage, pavements, utilities and parking layouts.
Prepare plans, specifications, memos, reports, cost estimates, and construction phasing plans.
Apply FAA standards and TSA considerations to project development and delivery.
Provide construction-phase services, RFI responses, submittal reviews and site visits.
Mentor and develop engineers and designers; support business development and client presentations.
