Job summary

TYLin is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Airside to lead planning, design, and delivery of major airfield projects for North American airports. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and work closely with airport owners, airlines, and contractors to deliver innovative, passenger-focused facilities.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of airside design experience, a degree in a related field, and proven leadership of complex aviation programs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Airfield Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive experience delivering complex airside/airfield design projects.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams on complex aviation projects.
PMP certification is considered an asset; RA/PE preferred.
Experience delivering projects for major airport authorities (e.g., Port Authority of NY & NJ).

Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex airfield/airside projects.
Coordinate architects, engineers, planners, aviation specialists, and consultants.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing plans, and delivery strategies.
Facilitate design coordination meetings aligning architectural, engineering, and stakeholder requirements.
Review deliverables, ensure QA, and support constructability reviews and phasing.
Identify risks and develop mitigation to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
