Job summary

Blueforce is seeking a qualified scheduler to coordinate aircrew training and flight operations, ensuring currency and progression requirements are met.

The role requires collaboration with training officers, squadron leadership, and maintenance to optimize schedules and minimize conflicts across flying, ground, and academic activities. You will manage data in PEX and related systems, and support weekly and event-driven scheduling meetings.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills for briefing leadership and presenting complex information.
• Clear written communication for reporting and documentation.
• Analytical ability to gather, analyze facts and propose actionable solutions.
• Experience working in a team environment with limited supervision.
• Familiarity with DoD logistics, operations policies, and scheduling principles.
• Ability to operate scheduling IT systems including PEX and secure networks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with training officers and management to arrange schedules meeting currency and progression standards.
• Build long- and short-range schedules to cover aircrew, instructors, and support personnel.
• Deconflict crewmember schedules with leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other commitments.
• Track training requirements and update scheduling data to reflect progress.
• Publish scheduling data in PEX or equivalents for all training events.
• Support meetings including weekly planning, airspace, and range scheduling.
• Coordinate with Wing Scheduling and higher HQ for exercise and special events.
