Job summary

BlueForce Inc. seeks a dedicated Aircrew Scheduler to support Bomber Squadron Operations at multiple AFGSC bases, including Barksdale AFB, LA. The role requires coordinating training, qualification, and flight schedules to ensure currency and readiness.

You will build long- and short-range schedules, track leave and TDYs, update data in PEX, and deconflict crewmember assignments. Strong communication and DoD scheduling experience are essential.

Qualifications

• US Citizen
• Active Secret Clearance
• Minimum 2 years of squadron aircrew scheduler experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PEX or similar scheduling program
• Knowledge of DoD and USAF policies, directives and procedures
• Ability to analyze facts and prepare executive-ready briefings/reports
• Strong oral communication skills for leadership updates
• Strong written communication skills for task publication
• Experience with NIPR/SIPR IT systems
• Team player with ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with officers and schedulers to arrange aircrew training and qualifications.
• Build long- and short-range schedules ensuring full coverage of aircrew and support staff.
• Coordinate with leadership daily to support flying operations.
• Track leave, TDY, medical appointments, and other commitments to deconflict schedules.
• Update scheduling data in PEX and other databases.
• Schedule aircrews to mitigate Operational Risk Management.
• Publish scheduling data for training events.
• Provide inputs to Wing Scheduling and leadership.
• Correlate sortie length with syllabus requirements.
• Attend weekly and monthly scheduling meetings.
