The engineer applies systems engineering processes through the full lifecycle—from concept to verification, validation, and certification—while supporting documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Developing aircraft system requirements: Concept of Operations, System Specifications, Component Specifications.
• Performing system analysis and modeling: Thermal/Heat Transfer, Flow/Pressure Drop, Component Sizing, Control System Architecture.
• Performing verification and validation: test plans, procedures, ground and flight testing, certification reports.
• Supporting technical publications: source data for operating manuals and maintenance documents.
• Travel for Interchange Meetings, Program Reviews, Testing, and Aircraft Field Support.
