Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Sr. Associate Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation Engineer Aircraft Systems) in Greenville, TX to develop instrumentation systems for component tests, lab tests, and flight/ground tests.

You will design system architectures, select components, and document configurations while ensuring proper calibration and data retrieval. You will work with environmental, hydraulic, avionics, flight control, and power systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Graduate degree with related instrumentation experience or six years of equivalent work.
• Must pass Class III Flight Certification (Flight Physical, Altitude Chamber, Ground Survival, Water Survival).

Responsibilities

• Develop instrumentation system architecture and select components; document configurations.
• Assemble and calibrate physical instrumentation systems for tests.
• Operate and maintain instrumentation systems during test campaigns, including flight line operations.
• Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, acoustics, and avionics teams to define system requirements.
