Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, Texas, is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems. You will apply basic engineering theory, develop layouts, and prepare drawings.

You will coordinate with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing and Production to ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost using CAD tools with supervision from senior engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Aeronautical/Civil Engineering or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the design of detail parts, assemblies, and installations for aircraft structures, mission equipment installations, and mechanical systems installations.
• Prepare engineering drawings and coordinate design activities with Tooling, Flight Sciences, Manufacturing and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost.
