Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in Millville, NJ, is seeking a Structures Technician to perform sheet metal repairs on turbine aircraft components and parts.

You will work under the MRO Services Manager, contributing to a safety-focused, detail-oriented team environment. The role requires basic to advanced knowledge of aircraft structures, with responsibilities including reading drawings, fastening systems, and maintaining maintenance entries in the Repair Station system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license preferred.
• A valid driver’s license for airline travel and/or passport is ideal but not mandatory.
• Prior aircraft sheet metal repair experience is highly recommended.
• Team player with ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated and able to perform under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean, and repair shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Comply with FAA regulations and Repair Station policies and procedures.
• Ensure proper tooling and equipment are calibrated and in good working order.
