Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Brunswick, GA is seeking a Structural Mechanic II to join our Operations team. Under supervision, you will perform a variety of structural assembly operations including riveting, layout, and sheetmetal work on aircraft components in a safety‑conscious, process‑driven environment.

You will read blueprints and work orders, use specialized tools, and maintain logs while meeting quality standards and time schedules.

Formación

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 years related structural assembly experience.
Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Responsabilidades

Safely perform assembly and riveting operations; ensure parts/assembly meet requirements.
Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole patterns.
Check all work and ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
Maintain logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners; shape and form complex angles per blueprint.
Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags and Production Change Orders; perform rework to ensure conformity.
Maintain neat work area, support 5S, and comply with safety regulations; use PPE.
