Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks a Structural Mechanic II in Tulsa, Oklahoma to join our production team. You will perform assembly, riveting, and fit-up of structural components on aircraft, following blueprints and work orders to ensure airworthiness and on-time delivery.

In this role, you will read blueprints, operate various tools, maintain logs, and work with teammates across shifts. The position requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work OT as needed, and uphold Gulfstream's safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures; rivet as required.
• Rivet structural assemblies using all required tools; ensure proper fastening without damaging the structure.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence and hole patterns.
• Check all work and ensure a defect-free assembly prior to final inspection.
• Maintain and use logs and records (MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
• Align and assemble parts using jigs, fixtures, and fasteners per blueprint specifications.
• Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags and Production Change Orders; perform necessary rework.
• Maintain a neat, safe workspace and support 5S program.
• Other duties as assigned.
