Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Structural Mechanic to perform repairs and modifications on aircraft, accessories, and related equipment. You will apply technical knowledge to solve structural repair problems and guide junior staff in maintenance practices.

Responsibilities include setting up and using metalworking tools, developing repair procedures, and ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals and safety standards. Experience with corrosion prevention is highly valued.

Qualifications

Completed High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three (3) years experience as an Airframe Structural Mechanic.
Familiar with aircraft systems, diagrams, schematics and safety requirements.
Experience in corrosion detection, treatment and prevention.
FAA A&P license desired but not required.

Responsibilities

Performs modifications, removal, replacement and reinstallation actions for structural integrity.
Operates shop metalworking equipment and performs setup, troubleshooting and repairs.
Develops repair procedures and determines materials and fasteners.
Assists in P&E report preparation and maintains records.
