Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair aircraft structures, engines, and systems. The role requires performing inspections, component replacement, and complex maintenance in alignment with DoD standards and safety requirements.

The position supports a wide range of aircraft tasks, including electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics, with supervision as needed. A DoD security clearance or eligibility is required, along with a valid driver's license and ability

Qualifications

• Requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility.
• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components.
• Disassembles, inspects, repairs or replaces defective parts and reassembles engines.
• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
• Supervises jacking and towing of aircraft and may service engines and airframe components.
• Maintains logs and records; prioritizes workload to meet schedules.
