Job summary

West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Structures Technician in Cedar Hill, TX. You will perform basic sheet metal operations, read blueprints, and work from drawings on airframe components.

The role requires basic metalworking skills, the ability to use shop equipment, and clear communication in English. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; an A&P license is not required but welcome. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe and Powerplant License not required but welcome.
• Basic knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations on airframe components including drilling, riveting, cutting.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening, and finish materials.
• Maintain and clean shop facilities, equipment, and tooling.
• Safely operate shop equipment such as brakes, presses, riveters, shears, and hand tools.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases.
• Communicate clearly in English and follow FAA guidelines.
