West Star Aviation Inc. is seeking a Falcon Sheet Metal Technician to perform sheet metal operations on turbine aircraft structures and support drawings and blueprints. The role entails supervising crews as needed and coordinating manpower for projects in a fast-paced hangar environment.

Experience with sheet metal and an A&P license are preferred, with benefits kicking in on day one. The position is full-time and on-site in East Alton, IL, with competitive wages ($22–$38/hour) and a

• High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant License is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
• Prior experience working with sheet metal is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components.
• Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facilities, equipment and tooling when required.
• Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
• Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English.
• Any other job-related duties assigned by supervisor or management.
