Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. in East Alton, IL is seeking a Falcon Sheet Metal Technician to join our on-site maintenance team. This full-time role focuses on precision sheet metal work for aircraft structures, reading blueprints, and supporting assigned projects.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, an Airframe and Powerplant license is preferred, and prior sheet metal experience is a plus. You will work under a Team Leader in a hangar environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Airframe and Powerplant license preferred.
• Prior sheet metal experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, and cutting on airframe components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Use basic computer skills to navigate training manuals and maintenance data.
• Communicate effectively in English (spoken, written, reading).
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
