Job summary

West Star Aviation is hiring a Sheet Metal Technician in Missouri. You will perform sheet metal operations on aircraft structures, read blueprints, and support finishing and sealant tasks in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; an A&P license is preferred. The role requires reliability for overtime and potential weekend work, with opportunities for growth within a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A&P license preferred.
• Experience with sheet metal and turbine aircraft structures.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings; familiarity with fastening systems.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and components.
• Apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials.
• Maintain, clean and repair shop facilities, equipment and tooling.
• Navigate electronic training, manuals and maintenance databases.
• Communicate effectively in English.
• Other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
