Join to apply for the Aircraft Mechanic II role at Amentum.

This position involves performing inspections, diagnosing, repairing, and monitoring aircraft systems, including structure, gear, controls, power, and electrical/electronic systems. The role requires following technical guidance from team leads or supervisors, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and ancillary equipment. The technician must read and interpret service manuals, maintenance instructions, service bulletins, technical data, and engineering data to maintain and repair systems effectively. Additional duties include cleaning aircraft parts and assemblies with solvents or cleaning solutions.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. At least four (4) years of experience with aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and parts replacement.
2. Two (2) years of NAVAIR/NAWCAD maintenance experience.
3. Proficiency in using technical publications and guidance, and experience with aircraft logs and records, specifically with the aircraft type supported.
4. Experience leading maintenance teams and managing workload and schedules.
5. High School Diploma or GED.
6. Top Secret Security Clearance, with US citizenship required.

Security Clearance:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with a favorable Tier 5 background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N aircraft.
