Job summary

West Star Aviation in East Alton, IL is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) at levels I–IV to join a busy MRO team. The role covers airframe and powerplant tasks, inspections, and maintenance on corporate aircraft.

This full-time, on-site position offers hourly pay ranging from $30 to $46 with benefits starting Day One, 401(k) match, paid time off, and weekly pay. Candidates with license credentials and progressive experience are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Airframe license required; Powerplant license highly preferred.
• Actual licensing levels depend on AMT tier (I–IV).
• Experience ranges from 0–6+ years depending on tier.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tasks on aircraft and systems.
• Remove/install panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft systems.
• Defuel aircraft and conduct engine work as needed.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist in testing and taxiing.
• Maintain shop facilities and tools; navigate maintenance data systems.
• Communicate in English and follow FAA guidelines.
