West Star Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in East Alton, IL. You will perform mechanical work, panel removal/installation, and system troubleshooting on sophisticated civilian aircraft while advancing through AMT levels with increasing responsibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Airframe or Powerplant license is required; Airframe license preferred.
• 0–2 years of aviation maintenance experience; progression through AMT I/II/III/IV levels with increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove/install panels and components; troubleshoot aircraft system issues.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; assist with taxiing and performance runs.
