Job summary

West Star Aviation Inc. is hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga, TN. The role covers general mechanical tasks, panel work, and system troubleshooting on sophisticated civilian aircraft. You’ll work with a team, use electronic manuals, and support maintenance data bases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Airframe or Powerplant license required; Airframe preferred.
• AMT levels I–IV with increasing experience.
• Experience on corporate or civilian aircraft is valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical tasks on aircraft and related systems.
• Remove and install panels and components as needed.
• Troubleshoot and solve aircraft system issues.
• Defuel aircraft when required.
• Perform engine removal and installations.
• Operate ground support equipment safely.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components.
• Assist in aircraft movement and test runs.
• Maintain shop facility, equipment, and tooling.
• Use basic computer tools to navigate training, manuals, and maintenance data bases.
• Communicate clearly in English in writing and speech.
