Job summary

Flightcheck Commercial Aviation is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our Windsor Locks, CT team. Responsibilities include performing line maintenance, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulics, and electrical systems, while upholding safety and airworthiness standards.

The position requires reading and interpreting manuals, attention to detail, and strong customer service. In-house certs, a stable environment, and a family-like culture are highlighted benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid A&P license and state driver's license.
• Ability to read, write and understand English and interpret technical data.
• Lift up to 70 pounds and climb ladders as needed.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening required.
• Night shift availability expected.
• 3+ years' experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities per company standards and FARs.
• Complete maintenance tasks to ensure airworthiness and quality.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals and documents.
• Maintain customer service orientation in daily work.
• Ensure all documents are complete and accurate.
• Operate servicing equipment and tools as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our Aircraft Maintenance Technician team in Windsor Locks, CT!

The Aircraft Mechanic will perform aircraft line maintenance activities in accordance with company, FAA, other regulatory, and customer standards. Responsible for accomplishing unscheduled/scheduled maintenance; to include, troubleshooting engines, landing gear, hydraulic systems, airframes, electrical systems, and oxygen systems. Remove and replace various system components, as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with the company's RSM, QCM, customers’ procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc
• Perform other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
• 3 years’ experience preferred but not required.
• Night shift availability required
